Origin Biotics: branding a supplement brand built to stand apart

Origin Biotics is a supplement and longevity brand that needed to stand apart in a category that had become visually overcrowded with the same clean minimalism. The brief was to build a brand with a stronger point of view.

The brief

The supplement and biotics category has a visual problem. In the last several years, hundreds of brands have adopted the same aesthetic: a muted palette, a clean sans-serif, a single hero ingredient photographed on a white background. Origin Biotics had the science and the formulation to justify a premium positioning. The brand needed to match that ambition visually rather than blending into the category.

The approach

We built Origin Biotics around the concept of origin itself: the science of foundational health, the idea that what you put in your body is the starting point for everything else. The visual identity uses depth and materiality rather than clinical lightness. The palette is grounded and authoritative. The typography is built to communicate both scientific credibility and premium desirability.

The packaging design needed to work across multiple SKUs while maintaining a clear visual hierarchy between products. The system was built to scale as the product range grows.

The outcome

Origin Biotics launched with a brand and packaging identity that positioned them in the upper tier of the supplement category and gave them a visual platform to grow from, rather than one they'd need to rebuild within 18 months.
